Structural decks and cassettes

Product support for the extensive range of structural deck and cassette tray systems includes project specific design calculations to ensure that the most economic profiles and gauges are selected at an early stage. Designs are provided quickly and comprehensively, including arranging diaphragm / stress skin calculations where required.

Thermal design

There is no such thing as a standard U value for metal roofing these days, the U value being selected to achieve the overall building Part L compliance.

SpeedDeck has ready prepared U values for most systems and combinations of insulation type and thickness. Bespoke system analysis is also available on request.

All system U values are calculated using Trisco 3D finite element analysis, complying with BS EN 10211-2 and taking into account all heat bridging effects.
